Mr. Kumar has found success as the owner of KK Engg, LLC since 2006. In this role, he works as a mechanical engineering consultant and consults with architects and construction professionals. Prior to this role, Mr. Kumar gained valuable experience as an engineering consultant for the University of New Mexico from 1984 to 1985 as well as an engineering consultant for Intel.

Amongst the many highlights of his career, Mr. Kumar is incredibly proud of a geo-thermal A/C project design that he created for a mansion in Nantucket Island, Massachusetts. He has notably earned congressional recognition from two congressmen and the state of California for his work in the community. Mr. Kumar attributes his success to his thorough enjoyment of his work.

Mr. Kumar obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mysore, India. In 1972, he earned a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Brigham Young University. He has been licensed as a professional engineer in Washington, Oregon, California and Nevada. Mr. Kumar is a lifetime member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineering International.
